The Shadow Wars were series of conflicts fought between 100 AI and 200 AI in Borias.
For a century, the Dwarves fought the Dark Elves for control of Borias. Despite many great victories, the Dwarves was eventually defeated by the Dark Elves and their Orcish allies. At the end of the wars, Brok Zurog - the Dwarven stronghold - were sacked and pillaged by the Dark Elves and Orcs, earning these races the eternal enmity of the Dwarves.
The victory meant that the Dark Elves reigned as the undisputed rulers of Borias for the next 600 years, until the coming of Men.
