Constructed Fantasy Worlds is all about you, or more specifically your fantasy worlds. If you have developed or wish to develop your own fantasy world, this is the wiki for you.
Rules[ | ]
Alas, every community must have rules in order to avoid anarchy, and this holds true on the internet as well. The rules of Constructed Fantasy Worlds are:
Content[ | ]
- The central theme of the content must be fantasy.
- The majority of the content has to be encyclopedic, but short tales are welcomed as expansion for the projects.
Projects[ | ]
- You are in charge of your own articles. You are the only one who can expand them, contract them, modify them or delete them (you will need help form the administrators to delete), unless you invite someone else to collaborate on your project.
- Please do not edit other people's articles without permission, unless it is necessary to correct bad grammar, bad format or bad spelling. Be careful with names, as they can be written in a special way.
- If you want to join to other user's project, please request a formal invitation.
- Remember to list your projects at your user page, so that everyone know which user is handling which projects.
Articles[ | ]
- Articles must have completely original content, created by yourself (or your collaborators, if any).
- You may make use of images from the internet, as long as you specify where you found the image, who created it, and who has the copyright.
Edits and Talk Pages[ | ]
- Do not submit coarse content.
- Be civil to other users at all times. It is more important to be kind, than to be right.
- Sign your posts on talk pages.
- Decent edit summaries and clear and transparent explanations are universally appreciated. Other editors need to understand your process, and it also helps you yourself to understand what you did after a long leave of absence from an article. Please state what you changed and why. If the explanation is too long, add more on the discussion page.
TV and Media[ | ]
- This is not a fan fiction wiki. If you want to write imaginary content about your favorite tv shows, comics or movies, there exists many fan fictions wikis that are waiting for your collaborations.
- Please do not make references to actual media franchises.
